1. About this policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Cross-Link Square LLP ("BMV", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on buymyventure.com and its portals. It forms part of, and should be read with, our Privacy Policy.

2. What are cookies

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. It allows the site to recognise your device, remember your actions and preferences, and understand how the site is used.

We also use similar technologies:

• Local storage and session storage — stores data in your browser, used to keep you signed in and to preserve progress through the multi-step seller listing flow.
• Pixels and tracking tags — tiny transparent images or scripts that record that a page was viewed or an action taken, used for advertising measurement.
• Software Development Kits (SDKs) embedded in third-party tools.

We refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.

3. Categories of cookies we use

3.1 Strictly necessary cookies — always on

These are required for the Platform to function. They cannot be switched off, and we do not need your consent for them.

3.2 Functional cookies — consent required

Remember your preferences to improve your experience — for example your language, saved searches, saved listings, dismissed banners, and dashboard layout. Disabling these does not break the Platform but makes it less convenient.

3.3 Analytics and performance cookies — consent required

Help us understand how visitors use the Platform: pages viewed, time on page, navigation paths, drop-off points in the registration and listing flows, device and browser mix, and errors encountered.

We use IP anonymisation in Google Analytics where available. We do not use analytics data to identify you personally.

3.4 Advertising and marketing cookies — consent required

Used to measure the performance of our advertising, to show you relevant advertisements on other sites, and to avoid showing you the same advertisement repeatedly.

If you consent to advertising cookies, some of these providers may combine the data with information they already hold about you and may transfer it outside India, under their own terms.

4. Your choices

4.1 Consent banner. On your first visit we present a cookie banner. You may Accept all, Reject all (non-essential cookies are then not set), or Manage preferences to consent category by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and non-essential cookies are not set until you consent.

4.2 Changing your mind. You may change your choices at any time via the Cookie Preferences link in the website footer. Withdrawal takes effect immediately for future collection; it does not delete data already collected.

4.3 Re-prompting. We will ask you again if we introduce a materially new category of cookie, or after 12 months, whichever is earlier.

You can also control cookies through your browser. Blocking all cookies will prevent you from signing in and using the seller and buyer portals.

To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. To manage Google advertising, visit myadcenter.google.com. To manage Meta advertising, use the ad preferences settings in your Facebook or Instagram account.

6. Do Not Track

There is no uniform industry standard for responding to browser "Do Not Track" signals. We therefore do not respond to DNT headers. Use the cookie preference controls in Section 4 instead — those we do honour.

7. Cookie lifespan

• Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
• Persistent cookies remain for a defined period, typically between 24 hours and 24 months depending on the cookie. Details for each cookie are available in the Cookie Preferences panel.

8. Changes

We may update this Policy as the Platform and our tools change. The current version is always at buymyventure.com/cookies. Material changes will trigger a fresh consent prompt.
